The topics covered during the Master will focus on the areas of technology and management. You will be given the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the values of ICA Group – a leading multinational operating in the chemical field.
We will concentrate on multidisciplinary aspects of research with a view to stimulating creative thought and originality. We will introduce you to the fascinating world of materials, colour and design; you will study “sustainable” solutions for coatings to be applied in industry.
We will visit the laboratories of the group’s overseas subsidiaries, where the Research & Development sector is engaged on the transfer of the methods, knowledge, technologies and procedures that are drivers of innovation in the field. You will undertake an intense training schedule with classroom-based lessons, participatory learning and lab sessions, accompanied by project work. You will enhance your ability to work on projects both on your own and as part of a team, developing your leadership skills, making the most of your ideas and learning to communicate them effectively.
We are offering 6 scholarships and a training course for overseas laboratory technicians, making comfortable accommodation available to those from outwith the local area, alongside a company canteen for use at lunchtimes. You will become part of a young, international, dynamic environment. The ICA Group HQ is located in Civitanova Marche, a coastal town in the province of Macerata. The company campus includes a gym, a tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch that can be used free of charge for the entire duration of the Master.
You can complete your study program with a period of total immersion in the methods, languages and mentality of a multinational leader in the coatings sector, and if you demonstrate that you have the right skill set, you may find yourself being offered a position within the company. Indeed, at the end of the Master, some of the students will be recruited as overseas lab technicians within ICA Group.
